Jaden Smith

Do I have any Jaden Smith fans here? I was a huge fan of Will Smith in the 90’s. He was so talented and funny and good looking. I don’t know about the humor part, but it appears that his son is just as talented and good looking. I originally thought there was some nepotism going on when Jaden would show up in movies when he was younger. Perhaps there was some nepotism, but who cares? This kid is awesome. I know many felt the same about Tori Spelling when she was cast on her daddy’s Beverly Hills, 90210. Guess what? Tori is freakin’ awesome, so screw all you people who put her down just because Aaron was her daddy. But I digress…..

Jaden Smith was born on July 8, 1998 in Malibu, California. He has a younger sister, Willow, who had a hit back in 2010 about whiplash. Something like that. I’ve seen both kids on Ellen (I LOVE Ellen!) and they seem like good people. I tend to judge people pretty quickly, but I’m always right so it doesn’t matter. 🙂 You can usually tell when people are putting on an act just to look good. I think these two kids are alright and pretty grounded. They seem like good kids. That usually means they have good parents.

Jaden the Actor

Jaden made his film debut in The Pursuit of Happyness with his dad. He then appeared in a remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. His next movie, The Karate Kid, is what I believe shot him to teeny bopper status. I saw this movie and was impressed with him. I wasn’t really impressed with the new Karate Kid movie itself, but that’s only because I’m a fan of the original with Ralph Macchio. Jaden also appeared in Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never documentary movie.

Jaden Smith has been on the TV shows All of Us, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, The Get Down, and more. He appeared in videos by Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, and Willow Smith. He rapped in Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never video. He’s just like his daddy. I wonder if he’s as funny. Smith released solo albums in 2017 and 2019. He also started his own clothing line. In addition to all of that, Jaden was a youth ambassador for Project Zambia which helped children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. He seems to be able to do it all.

At 21 years of age, young Mr. Smith has been nominated for and won several awards. He’s done a lot in his 21 years and I get the feeling he’s just getting started. I’m hoping his parents can continue to guide him and keep him surrounded with good people. If he keeps his nose clean, he has a very bright future ahead of him.
