George Harrison Hit Parader pinup

This George Harrison Hit Parader pinup from Hit Parader magazine is one page only and in excellent condition.  The exact item shown is what you will receive in the mail.  I do not sell copies or scans.  The caption in the upper left reads:

My involvement with a spiritual life, or a love of Krishna, has to do with singing and dancing…and manifesting my own divinity.

George Harrison, born February 25, 1943 in Liverpool, England, is best known as one fourth of The Beatles.  Harrison did do great things on his own after The Beatles.  Some of his hits:

  • My Sweet Lord
  • Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)
  • Got My Mind Set on You

Back side

“Rock ‘N’ Roll every month with a subscription to Hit Parader America’s first rock ‘n’ roll magazine” is on the back.  The issue shown in the ad has Kiss on the cover.  They’re in makeup and are the original four (Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley).  FYI, you could get two years of Hit Parader for only $14.  Others listed on the cover are Peter Frampton, Starship, Blue Oyster Cult, Linda Ronstadt, and Thin Lizzy.  This makes me think this pinup is from the mid to late 1970’s.

Note:  I have written “George Harrison” at the top of this page.
