Description

George Kooymans house pinup

This George Kooymans house pinup is one page only and in excellent condition.  This is from a Dutch magazine.  It’s a bit larger than a normal size pinup and will need to be trimmed.  It measures approximately 9.5 x 12.  This is the exact item you will receive in the mail.  I do not sell copies or scans.

George Jan Kooymans, born in The Hague, Netherlands on March 11, 1948, is a guitarist and singer.  He is a member of the Dutch group Golden Earring.

Golden Earring was started in 1961 by Kooymans (who was only 13 at the time) and his neighbor, Rinus Gerritsen.  Those two have been with the band the entire run, which is coming up on 60 years together.  Their biggest hit was Radar Love in 1973.  I remember that song!  In addition to Kooymans, the main members were Rinus Gerritsen, Barry Hay, and Cesar Zuiderwijk.

Back side

There are two black and white pictures of Eric Clapton and the first page of an article on the back.  I do not read Dutch, but I believe the article talks about how Eric Clapton is the undisputed master of the guitar in America.
