Born at the end of a long hot summer in Los Angeles, just two years after the summer of love, Megan Marie Ward was the youngest of four children. Her family moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, when she turned four years old because her parents were professional actors who had been hired to perform in small parts on the Hawaii Five-O (1968) and Magnum, P.I. (1980) television series, both filmed in Hawaii.

An actress known for General Hospital (1963), Encino Man (1992) and Joe’s Apartment (1996), Megan has been married to Michael Shore since 1995. She met Michael in an acting class. Together they have two children, a son, Oliver, born in 2001, and a daughter, Audrey, born in 2006.
