Britney Early Trivia

• Britney was an opening act for ’N Sync when she was first starting out.
• Had to turn down a role in the 2000 movie Scary Movie due to scheduling conflicts.
• Her character in her movie Crossroads was supposed to swear but she demanded the bad words be taken out. She was looking out for her younger fans. Good job!
• Was best friends with Christina Aguilera when they were doing The All New Mickey Mouse Club.

Britney Awards

• Spears is the youngest female artist to have a million selling album in the UK.
• Baby One More Time became the biggest selling album ever by a teenage artist. Britney was only 17 at the time of the release. Take that, Debbie Gibson.
• Oops!… I Did It Again was the fasting selling album by a female artist.
• Britney received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003. She and Melissa Gilbert are the youngest ever to have one.

Britney Love Life

• Says that Justin Timberlake was her first kiss ever. They were listening to Janet Jackson and playing Truth or Dare. She was 12 at the time. That is so cute. I love this!
• Her first marriage to Jason Alexander lasted 55 hours.
• Britney’s marriage to Kevin Federline lasted from October 2004 to July 2007.
• Britney has been linked to Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit.
• She has also been linked to Colin Farrell who she was seen kissing at a movie premiere.
• Her ex-husband Kevin Federline was a dancer for Justin Timberlake. That’s like six degrees of something.

Britney Later Trivia

• She is good friends with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
• Britney was considered for the role of Daisy Duke in the remake of The Dukes of Hazzard in 2005. I think she would have been great! That role went to Jessica Simpson.
• Spears lost custody of her kids to her second husband, Kevin Federline, in October 2007.
• She has said her three main influences in her music career are Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Whitney Houston.
• Britney joined The X Factor in 2012. She joined Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Demi Lovato (who replaced Paula Abdul).
• She is mentioned in several popular songs including “The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem, “Don’t Let Me Get Me” by Pink, and “Party in the U.S.A.” by Miley Cyrus.
